On Friday, November 17th, 2023, the commencement ceremony for Guinea Samatra-Ansoumania Road Project Aided by UN was grandly held in the city of Dubreka, marking the official opening of the execution of this important road.

At the ceremony, the Guinea Minister of Infrastructure and Public Works, Secretary General, head of the United Nations West Africa headquarters and representative of the European Union in Guinea delivered passionate speeches expressing the expectations and support for this important infrastructure project.

After the speech, surrounded by the people and wearing CBITEC’s reflective vests & safety helmets, the Minister of Infrastructure and Public Works, representatives of the EU & the UN cut the ribbon at the foundation stone laying site, participated in the the foundation stone laying ceremony and jointly wish the project execution successful.

The successful commencement ceremony for the Samatra-Ansoumania road project has brought new hope and expectations to the local residents and also reflected that the project would be about to enter a tense cexecution phase.
